Who qualifies for Lifeline in Puerto Rico?
Lifeline eligibility rules are federal — they apply the same way in Puerto Rico as they do nationwide:
- Program-based: You may qualify if you (or anyone in your household) participate in SNAP, Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Federal Public Housing, Veterans Pension, or certain tribal programs.
- Income-based: You may qualify if your household income is at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
