Free Lifeline Phone Service in Wexford county

Program-Based Qualification Method:

You can qualify for Michigan Lifeline if you or another person in your household is enrolled in any one of these qualifying public assistance programs:

• Medicaid
• Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
• Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
• Federal Public Housing Assistance
• Veterans Pension or Survivors Pension Program
• Tribal Eligibility Programs (and living on federally-recognized Tribal lands)

Additional Eligibility for Survivors:

Survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and related crimes may qualify for up to six months of emergency Lifeline support with household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, or by participating in one of the following additional programs:

• Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
• Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch or Breakfast program, including enrollment at a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) school or school district
• Federal Pell Grant in the current award year
